I think Summer season and mangoes are just synonyms with one another. Mango is a king of fruits, and everyone likes to eat mangoes. even I always used to wait for mango season because I used to make mango kheer, which is one of my and my family favorite desserts. Mango kheer is one of the unique recipes in dessert. It is like a fusion between traditional kheer and flavored kheer. This is an easy-to-make dessert, filled with the goodness of mango season, you can make this kheer and cherish after your everyday meals. Mango kheer is also a very popular recipe during festivals.
Mango, which is less fibrous and lusciously sweet, would be best for this dessert because it is this fruit that makes the kheer droll-worthy sweet. A bite of mango kheer gives an immensely satisfying feast. I always use full fat milk for best result. I have prepared this kheer without dry fruits because I love Its creamy texture and don't like their crunchiness in this dessert but if you like dry fruits so you can add them accordingly to your choice,
We all know very well about the health benefits of mangoes. Mango is very delicious fruit but at the same time it has lots of nutrient's value. Its rich in fiber and helps lower cholesterol. It boosts the immune system and supports eye health. It is rich in Vitamin C and K. Mango high in potassium as well.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ltr milk
- 1/2 cup rice
- 4-5 cardamoms
- 2 cup mango puree
- 8-9 saffron strings
- 2 tbsp sugar
- First, soak the rice for 1 hour.
- Pour the milk in a pan and let it boil.
- Add the rice and let it cook. Wait for rice to be cooked and kheer to become thick and creamy and keep stirring in between.
- Add green cardamoms to give a nice aroma.
- Now add sugar and cook until it dissolves.
- Add saffron milk to give a nice colour.
- After completing this process, switch off the gas and let the kheer come to room temperature. Then add mango puree and mix well.
- Serve it.

Advice
- Adjust the quantity of sugar you use depending upon on mango sweetness.
- Allow the milk mixture to cool down completely before adding the mango puree to it, otherwise it might split.
- Always use fresh ripe mango to give best taste.
- You can avoid sugar if you like less sweetness.
- Make sure to use heavy-bottomed pan to cook the kheer.
- Use dark color mango to make mango puree.
